New in IBM(R) Lotus(R) Instant Messaging and Web Conferencing 6.5.1 is the ability to integrate Web-based teleconferences as a meeting type through the Meeting Room. This installation guide tells you how to install and configure the Web Conferencing Audio Adapter for Premiere Conferencing 6.5.1 so you can enable this capability for your Lotus Instant Messaging and Web Conferencing servers using the services of Premiere Conferencing. You should be familiar with the features and functions of IBM Lotus Web Conferencing, and with the conferencing features of Premiere Conferencing.
For more information on Premiere Conferencing or to get a free trial, see their Web site at https://ww1.premconf.com/ibmfreetrial
For information on how to use the Web-based teleconferencing features from Lotus Instant Messaging and Web Conferencing, see the online help for IBM Lotus Sametime(R) 6.5.1.
Note: For the rest of this document, the Lotus Instant Messaging and Web Conferencing Server is referred to as the Sametime server.
This document contains the following sections:
Before installing the Audio Adapter, complete the following steps:
If your Sametime server is already using SSL, you must modify your current configuration. Open your existing key store token in the Sametime server data directory (default name is stkeys.pfx) and import the following publicly available certificate from Verisign:
VeriSign Class 3 Public Primary CA
For more information about properly configuring SSL and working with key store tokens:
After downloading the self-extracting zip file to your workstation and extracting the contents, you will find the following:
Note: If the autorun utility does not start up or if you want to install the Audio Adapter at a later time then you can launch the installation program from Audiobridge\setup.exe

After downloading the self-extracting zip file to your workstation and extracting the contents, you will find the following:
The binary save file is built and installed as an iSeries PTF. Complete the following steps to install the PTF on your iSeries server and configure the Audio Adapter for Premiere Conferencing:
Note: You must have a user profile with command line capabilities, and a user class of *SECOFR.

The following are some known Limitations in this release as well as workarounds, if available.
If a user configures their Sametime Connect for the desktop client so that “Phone” is the only meeting tool selected and starts an instant Teleconferencing meeting, the dialog box to accept the call information and connect to the teleconference does not display.
Workaround: Make sure at least one other tool other than Phone is selected before creating a teleconference meeting.
If a user configures their Sametime Connect for the desktop client so that “Phone” or “Phone” and “Chat” are the only meeting tools selected and starts an instant Teleconferencing meeting, the dialog box to accept meeting information is presented, but the teleconference meeting will fail with an error that the audiobridge adapter is not connected.
Workaround: Make sure at least one other tool other than “Phone” and “Chat” is selected before creating a teleconference meeting.
Note: when a fix for this is available, it will be delivered as a hot fix.
If the user has not logged on using a Sametime Connect client, the user will have no entry in the vpuserinfo.nsf file. Therefore, the ClientID/Passcode the user enters when scheduling a teleconference call will not be saved for use scheduling future calls. There is no alert notifying the user that the information will not be stored.
Workaround: Log on to Sametime using a Connect client before scheduling a teleconference meeting.
If a phone meeting moderator applies the Mute All function, all phone users are muted. However, users who dial in after the moderator applied the Mute All function will still be able to talk in the teleconference.
The Call Me feature, where a call is placed from the teleconference to an invited guest, requires a direct line. Audio bridge currently does not handle dialing numbers with extension.
Workaround: Users with extensions will have to dial into the conference.
There is no alert to warn you, but the installation and enablement must follow the steps in the order outlined above.
The record option does not work for a teleconference meeting.
When using a 1.4.1 Java VM from Sun with either Internet Explorer or Mozilla, a user cannot use the "OK" button to close the error dialog box that appears when a "Dial Out" request has failed. The user must click the red "X" at the top of the dialog to close it. Upgrading to a more recent Java VM such as 1.4.2 fixes this problem.
